Nebqed’s Offerings for the Afterlife Giclée Print
Nebqed’s Offerings for the Afterlife Giclée Print
Design
Reproduction of a vignette from the Book of the Dead that was created for the royal scribe Nebqed around 1400 BC. Nebqed can be seen standing before a pile of funerary offerings, including bundles of lotus flowers, baskets of fruits and grain, bread, fowl and cuts of meat. He wears a wig with triangular stepped sides, a white linen robe, and a scribal palette tucked into his belt.
