Design

Reproduction of an illustration from Chapter 186 of the Book of the Dead, discovered in the burial of the Royal Scribe Ani from c. 1250 BC. The goddess Hathor manifests in her sacred cow form, emerging from a thicket of papyrus amidst the pink cliffs of the Theban desert. The imagery symbolises Hathor's connection to the natural world and her role in guiding souls through the afterlife.
