Design

Reproduction of a tomb painting from the Tomb of Pashedu in the worker's village of Deir el-Medina. The corridor to the burial chamber is guarded by a large painting on either wall of the god Anubis in the form of a black jackal, sitting alert on a shrine with cavetto cornices. Since the first dynasty of Egypt’s history in c. 3100 BC, Anubis has been depicted as a protector of graves.

Description

Giclée print created using archival quality Fine Art Trade Guild-approved printers, inks, and papers, guaranteed to provide vibrant colours, outstanding contrast and pin-sharp reproductions. The 100% cotton smooth matte paper is both acid-free and OBA-free, meaning it won’t fade or discolour over time. Each print includes an insert giving more details about the history and symbolism of the original artwork.
